Le Petit Gourmet

We walked in here not knowing that this is the first Parisian restaurant to offer halal French cuisine and they have been in business for the last 20 years or so. This cute little classic Parisian chic restaurant on Rue du Faubourg Montmartre was packed even during off peak times! We really enjoyed dining here, the dishes were fresh and homemade, the owner and staff were very friendly and the tables are close to each other creating a family like atmosphere in the heart of Paris.

Les Grands Enfants

If you’re looking for a more modern halal dining experience than a small Parisian restaurant then we recommend you try out Les Grands Enfants. We also appreciate that the restaurant also offers a prix fixe menus, which includes options for starters, main courses, and desserts that offer a more affordable alternative for those who want to have a full course meal. Also, we were pleased to see that reservations can be made online on their website (a relief as our French is…work in progress).

L’ Affamé

While it is a bit out of the way from most of the tourist spots in Paris, this modern and sleek Parisian bistro meets our standards for a halal dinner date. The ambiance is pretty nice, the furniture, color choices and especially the very cozy outdoor space really moved this space to a more dinner date status than a casual cafe.
